everyday cant be easy breezy effortless and amazing. sometimes when things go awry or you just can’t get something right and you feel like your stuck in the twilight hour, it’s just universes way of asking you up to step it up a notch…my whole day has been wacky.. when i got to the studio I was so excited to show the day who was boss, but when I started singing it didn’t even sound like me. finally I just surrendered, took a time out, meditated for a hot minute, gave myself a little pep talk and got out of the way. and finally i got the vocal I was looking for. it’s easy to give up, or start over, but it takes strength to push on through and when you do. when you fight for it, when you pay attention, when you shut up and listen.. you get to where you want to go. and you feel like a winner. so when your frustrated, when your about to give up, remember that..’this too shall pass..’ and push on through.
